Design Team
Dublin-based Architects O’Donnell + Tuomey represented Ireland at the 9th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale 2004. They have developed a reputation for excellence in design and rigorous attention to detail over many years.
The practice has received 30 national and international awards and commendations over the past 14 years and has been short-listed for numerous major European awards. In 1999 it received the award for the best building in Europe in the Educational Category from the Royal Institute of British Architects, for Ranelagh Multi Denominational School in Dublin and in 2003 their project for the Furniture College at Letterfrack, Co Galway, was a finalist for the European Union Prize for Architecture.
Their work has been widely published and exhibited in Britain, Europe, America and Japan.
