End of an era

The Lyric marked the end of an era today as it announced details of the last productions to be staged at the current venue on Ridgeway Street which will close in January 2008. The great and the good of the local theatre scene gathered at the Lyric and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces from the past forty years.
Lots of great stories were shared about favourite productions and performers. Hopefully we can raise the further £2million still required to make sure our actors and audiences have a Lyric to cherish for the next forty years!
