Setting the Scene

We visited O’Donell & Tuomey’s offices in Dublin this week to talk about the designs for the main auditorium which will be like a finely tuned instrument cased within the building. It will be a beautiful and intimate space with a distinctive wood interior and a terraced landscape of seating, cascading down to the main stage in one bank. Two small balconies will populate each side wall so that actors can hold the audience in one full sweep without breaks. The detailed descriptions provided for us by John and his team, along with the CGI imagery and 3D modelling we viewed, brought the space vividly to life, and our sense of excitement and anticipation is even greater than before.
